Cavan has the highest Covid death rate in the country according to the latest CSO figures.
Data up to mid-February also shows Monaghan has the third highest rate.
This data covers February 20th 2020 to February 19th of this year.
It shows Cavan recorded 121 Covid related deaths per 100,000 people over that period - the highest rate in the country.
Monaghan had a rate of 112 - the third highest.
While the Northern Sound region has recorded a lower number of deaths than larger population centres, the rate relative to their population and case numbers is among the highest in the country.
The Shannonside counties meanwhile are found closer to the bottom of the table.
Roscommon had the highest rate there at 68 per 100,000, followed by Longford at 42.
Leitrim had the lowest rate in the region and the fourth lowest in the country at 37.
