Cavan community groups and facilities have an opportunity to tap into a funding pot for repairs and improvements to facilities.
Cavan Local Community Development Committee, the LCDC, is inviting applications now for the Local Enhancement Programme 2025. It's funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development.
The grants available under the scheme are for capital funding to use towards carrying out repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency projects and the purchase of equipment. Current funding is to support groups and organisations with running costs like electricity bills and insurance.
Eligible groups can apply online through Cavan County Council website. At least one quote must accompany every application. The closing date for applications is Wednesday, February 12th.
