The Cavan-Clones road remains closed as security alert continues there this morning.

The security alert on the Cavan-Fermanagh border is still in place this morning.

It’s over a week since the Continuity IRA claimed it planted an explosive device in the area.

The main Cavan-Clones road has been closed for most of this week to allow the PSNI carry out its investigation in the area.

It will remain closed again today .
