Some of the country's greatest street theatre, comedy, and circus shows will be at the centre of Cavan Town tomorrow for the Cavan Calling Street Carnival.
The family fun event will run from 1pm - 6pm opposite the bus station in the historic grounds of the Cavan Number 1 School.
The Cottage Market Cavan Summer Street Market will also run from 12noon to 6pm on Town Hall Street.
Tomorrow will see the celebration of 'Cavan Day' taking place with something on offer for all the family.
A special park run event, the boomtown rats will take to the stage in the egg market and the night will finish off with a fireworks display.
Kim McCafferty who is the artistic director of Cavan arts festival says this free event will sure to be a popular event across the region.
The stellar line-up includes Captain Cormac, one half of infamous comedy duo Lords of Strut. A street performance world champion and “a master at showing off”. For as long as he can remember he’s been flaunting his skills to anyone and everyone.
