Teddy bears are just as popular amongst adults as they are with children according to one Cavan businesswoman.
The first teddy bear that most would be familiar with can be traced back to the early 1900s.
It remained the most popular toy in Britain between 1904 and 1915.
Anke Morgenroth runs Bear Essentials and makes handmade teddy bears along with running a teddy bear hospital in Bawnboy.
She says that bears often hold a great deal of sentimental value both with children and adults.
Speaking on the Wider View Roadshow in Corlough, she also says that they still remain a hugely popular gift, and they also are highly collectible:
