Cavan-based Moran's Mega Jam named has been named the winner of Grow with ALDI 2024
The local producer's garlic mayonnaise will now be stocked in 162 ALDI stores across Ireland since yesterday. The local company secured a Specialbuy contract that will cement their business presence on the Irish retail scene and see their products stocked in 162 stores nationwide.
Moran's Mega Jam is a business based in Co. Cavan, run by husband-and-wife Kieron and Claire Moran. Specialising in jams, chutneys and relishes, their products are made with fresh, local ingredients. This year's entrepreneurial winners were chosen following a nationwide call-out that saw emerging food and drinks producers from all over the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland apply to take part.
In May, 27 finalists were chosen to have their products go on sale in ALDI stores nationwide as part of a Specialbuy promotion with three winners ultimately coming out on top.
Moran's were one of them and the Cavan company is certainly enjoying sweet success. Kieron Moran says the business is only going one way at the moment.
