Cavan and Monaghan second levels students are among a cohort that that has entered over 1,700 projects in next year's BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) 2023.
Health, new technologies, agriculture, sport science, and environment are among the key trends which have emerged from the entries. Students also looked at new applications and technology-based solutions to improve everyday life for those living with a variety of illnesses and conditions.
Minister for Education, Norma Foley said students across the country have demonstrated ingenuity and creativity in their enteries. She added how important and encouraging it was to see young people finding new ways to solve problems.
"STEM education holds endless opportunities for our young people and that's why the Department is proud to support the exhibition. I look forward to learning more about the student's projects at the exhibition in January," concluded the Minister.
