“Casual” cross-border travel must stop if we want to prevent the further spread of Covid-19.
That’s according to DCU Professor of Health Systems, Anthony Staines.
He says instances of people going to parties, pubs or shops on the other side of the border could be the cause of a spike in cases in the local region, and must be discouraged.
