Castlemanor Nursing Home in Drumalee is seeking planning permission for a number of new bedrooms.
The nursing home, located on the outskirts of Cavan town, is a 71 bed facility with a dedicated 13 bed Dementia unit.
The development would consist of alterations to the north side of the existing nursing home.

This would allow for additional accommodation on the site to provide four fully accessible bedrooms and toilets and all associated site works.
A decision is expected by the 17th of July.
