A Castleblayney Secondary School is seeking permission for a three storey extension to their existing school building.
The works would see Our Lady's Secondary School construct nine new classrooms, an art lab, two science labs, a technology room and preparation rooms.
The extension will be built to the side and rear of the school.
The works will also include internal alterations to the existing school, the removal of temporary accommodation, and expanded car parking facilities.
In June, the Department of Education gave approval to move to the planning stage for the extension, which was first announced a year ago.
