Residents of Castleblayney are being encouraged to complete a survey on possible uses for the Market House in the town.
Councillor Aiden Campbell says Monaghan County Council has received funding of €300,000 under the Rural Regeneration Scheme which will help bring the Market House "back to life".
He says the funding will be used to look at a new design for the Market House and bring it to full planning permission.
Consultations are on-going and there is a survey available from Monaghan County Council which allows residents to put their ideas forward:
