A Castleblayney resident has pleaded for Monaghan County Council to carry out flood relief works in her area.
Geraldine Lambe lives in Annadrummond and says residents often struggle to access their properties due to flooding.
She says these issues have been on-going for years and works to alleviate flooding would be the "most important thing" for people in the area.
Despite numerous calls for the road to be raised, she says nothing has ever been done and this week's heavy rain has seen water levels increase again.
Geraldine added that residents "have had enough" and just want to be able to get up and down the road.
