New dog fouling stencils have been introduced in Castleblayney to remind owners to clean up after their pets.
The stencils are sprayed onto the footpath and aim to get the message across in more creative way than regular signs.
It is part of a wider awareness campaign for the month, where posters and billboards are highlighting a similar message.
Councillor Aidan Campbell raised a motion at a recent meeting seeking that it now be rolled out to other towns.
