Cashless pay parking in Monaghan town is expected to be launched next month.
The District Co-Ordinator confirmed that the app and website was 75 per cent completed.
Signage design is to be finalised shortly, with reporting, enforcement and financial systems to be set up also.
The IT system is expected to be complete by the end of this month, with the app being unveiled in mid-March.
Last year, Monaghan County Council confirmed that regular parking machines will remain in place alongside contactless systems.
The local authority also intends to have eight new pay parking machines installed around the town by the end of next month.
