A new Primary Care Centre in Carrickmacross will open on Monday next, the 11th April.
The facility will accommodate a wide range of services including GP, dental, public health nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, social work, psychology, dietetics, podiatry, and adult mental health services.
There will also be capacity to book rooms for other HSE services so that additional resources can be accommodated in the future.
Primary Care General Manager for Cavan and Monaghan, Josephine Collins, said the new state of the art primary care centre was a very welcome addition to the HSE services already being provided in Carrickmacross and in the South Monaghan area.
She added that it will improve access to a broad range of services that will meet the needs of the local population.
Meanwhile, all services will cease from the Health Centre at Emmet Street in Carrickmacross from Friday the 8th of April.
