The Carrickmacross online market is going live in the coming weeks.
This is a resource that will allow customers to access a variety of shops and traders in one location online from early December.
It is hoped that the platform, which currently has 15 businesses or traders signed up, will help to encourage shopping local especially in the run up to Christmas.
In addition to this Monaghan County Council has started to roll out new signage around the county to urge people to support local businesses.
