Carrickmacross Main Street to close on phased basis for road resurfacing works

Sections of Main Street in Carrickmacross will close overnight for the next two weeks to facilitate road resurfacing works.

The works will take place in phases from Cloughvalley Stores to the junction with the R179, Kingscourt Road.

Road closures will take effect between 7.30 pm to 7 am, from this evening until Saturday, July 3rd, and again from Monday, July 5th, to Saturday, July 10th.

The first phase of the works begin this evening from Cloughvalley Stores.

Local diversions will be in place and all detours will be sign-posted to direct traffic.
