Information days on one-to-one Family Carers Support are set to be held in West Cavan this month. The one-to-one service for carers will include one-to-one confidential appointments for advice, guidance and information on how to access services and support if you are caring for a family member or relative.
Organisers of the events say people who have recently become Carers would also benefit from using this service. The remainder of information days and appointments will be held in Ballyconnell (13th November); Belturbet (21st November); Corlough (25th November).
The service is for anyone caring for their child, spouse, parent or other family member. Morning, afternoon and evening appointments are available. The initiative is a partnership between Cavan County Local Development (SICAP), FOCUS Family Resource Centre and Family Carers Ireland and is to assist Family Carers to access the services and support available to them.
