First round CAO offers will be made this afternoon.
61, 000 students received their Leaving Cert results last week, with many anticipating today's college offers. Applicants who don't get their first choice at 2 o'clock will have to wait until September for the second round.
Communications Officer with the CAO, Eileen Keleghan says students who receive a lower preference offer today may get a better offer in the next round: "Round two offers issue on September 9th at 2pm for applicants who may have received a lower preference offer in round one," Ms Keleghan said, "An applicant can accept this offer and still be considered for a higher preference offer in a later round if oit becomes available and they are deemed eligible."
