There have been calls locally for supports for hauliers and agricultural contractors.
Independent councillor Shane P. O'Reilly says both sectors are on their knees due to increasing fuel costs and a lack of relief.
While there is a rebate scheme for hauliers, councillor O'Reilly says this will not alleviate the cash flow problems, and agricultural contractors are not included in the rebate scheme anyway.
