There are calls for safe beds for men suffering domestic abuse to be opened
in the Northeast.
Ireland currently has no shelter or refuge specifically for men who are
victims of domestic violence.
Men's Aid says having a space near their Navan office, which would service
the northeast, would be a priority for them as their service expands.

CEO Kathrina Bentley told Shannonside Northern Sound that it's one of two
things that they urgently need.
