Around 100 jobs are to be created with the expansion of a Californian company into Cavan town.
Ultra Clean Holdings has announced it's to establish an Advanced Technology Cleaning Centre at the IDA Business and Technology Park at Killygarry.
The investment comes on the back of a surging demand in the semi-conductor industry.
It's expected that the project will create approximately 100 jobs when fully operational.
UCT's VP of Operations for Europe Shay Torton said the company is committed to "enhancing the Cavan economy and community" by being an "active partner and good neighbour".
The news has been welcomed this morning by Tanaiste Leo Varadkar and IDA Ireland CEO Martin Shanahan.
Construction is advancing at the 57,000 sq ft facility and is expected to be operational by the third quarter of this year.
