The Criminal Assets Bureau is investigating almost 1,800 targets, including 45 in Cavan-Monaghan.
As of the end of December last, 1,770 individuals or crime gangs were under investigation by CAB - a record figure.
The Dublin West garda division had the highest number of targets at the end of last year, at 293.
Meanwhile, criminals were deprived of almost €11 million by the Criminal Assets Bureau last year.
Half was returned to the state, while another €5.4 million was recovered and returned to six victims of cryptocurrency theft.
Commenting on the figures, Justice Minister Helen McEntee hailed CAB as "a vital tool in the fight against organised crime".
