Burst water main affecting large area of Cavan Town

Crews are working to restore water to homes and businesses in Cavan Town after a water main supplying the town burst this morning.

Customers affected by the burst water main include those from Billis, Shankhill, Kilagarry, Dublin Road, Swellan, Carrickfern, Cootehill Road, Kilnavara Lane, Ashbrooke, Ballinagh Road, Cavan Town and surrounding areas in Co. Cavan.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 9am tomorrow.
