A Monaghan councillor says an "act of vandalism" that saw a burned out car left at Hollywood Park will set the Council back a lot of money in removal costs.
Yesterday afternoon, Sinn Féin's Cathy Bennett received calls about the burned out vehicle at Hollywood Park, Scotstown.
Councillor Bennett says Gardai are investigating the incident and she's called on those responsible to "own up" to it.
The Monaghan councillor says acts like this at Hollywood Park, and similar recent incidents at Sliabh Beagh, "are a big expense for Monaghan County Council":
