Calls have been made for Government to invest heavily in more resources and campaigns to support both parents and educators.

Councillor Coyle told a recent County Council meeting that "teachers are at the front line of this issue".

The Department of Education stated that teachers would be consulted and invited to make submissions.

She says she is glad that the Minister is acting on this now and it's a welcome change.
