Broadband works in Bailieboro now complete

National Broadband Ireland announced today that surveying works for over 2,800 Cavan premises in the Bailieboro area are now completed. In Cavan, there are approximately 17,000 premises in the Intervention Area, which includes homes, farms, commercial businesses, and schools.

Under the National Broadband Plan, Cavan will see an investment of €65M in the new high speed fibre network.

Speaking to Northern Sound, NBI Chief Executive Peter Hendrick said that teams continue to work on the rollout plan and steady progress has been made from surveying, design, build to connection works across the county.
