Brendan Smith says more needs to be done to tackle the drugs trade along the border.

Brendan Smith also called for the national co-financing commitments to be honoured.

Minister Foley has visited a number of schools in Cavan and Monaghan.

There were over €540,000 worth of drugs seized in Cavan over the last year.

The school has seen increasing numbers of students since it opened.

The funding will allow the Ballyhaise National School to construct a new general classroom with en-suite facilities.

It's expected that international travel restrictions will be eased mid-July.

Works will be carried out to 133 houses across the two counties.
