Monaghan's Brenda McAnespie will be officially inducted into the Ladies Gaelic Football Associations Hall of Fame this weekend.
Brenda will be inducted into the hall of fame at the TG4 All Stars awards night on Saturday evening.
A two-time All-Ireland senior championship winner with the Farney County in 1996 and 1997. McAnespie was also a key player for the county team that landed the All-Ireland Junior crown in 1992.
Brenda says it's a brilliant honour to be awarded and a lot of people can take this award for me as well.
Through her playing career she has played alongside her five daughters at a competitive level.
