Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in a residence in Monaghan town. Local Gardai made the discovery at the town centre property yesterday evening.
The area remains sealed off this morning following the discovery. The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem will take place at a later date.
Monaghan Gardai say the outcome of which will determine the course of the investigation.
