The border region has the lowest median net wealth of Irish households.

The CSO today published its Household Finance and Consumption Survey , it found the median net wealth of a household in Ireland is €193,100.
In the North and West it's €173,300, and is highest in the Eastern and Midlands.
The median value of a main residence is €260,000, but $200,000 locally.
64 per cent of local households have some form of debt including mortgages, loans, credit cards and overdrafts, with a median debt value of €18,200.
Across the country, 68 per cent of people have some debt, with a median value of €25,000.
Almost 98 per cent of households in the north and west own some form of financial asset like savings, investments and voluntary pensions.
Average savings are worth €9,200, the highest in the country.
