Border Communities against Brexit have thanked the Taoiseach for meeting with them as EU negations reach a crucial stage.
Micheal Martin joined the group virtually this morning to discuss current trade talks, the Shared Island initiative and how people along the border will be affected by the changes.
In a statement, a spokesperson said the current mood of negotiations is quite negative, but it was expressed how important a deal is for those in the border region.
Border Communities says they’ll continue to engage with the Taoiseach as the December 31st deadline approaches, to ensure the concerns remain on the Government’s agenda.
