A body has been recovered from a Monaghan lake in a search for a missing woman.
Gardaí assisted by Monaghan Civil Defence carried out a search of Lough Major in Ballybay on Monday.
The Civil Defence boat crew conducted a search and located the body just before midday.

The incident is being treated as a tragic death.
