Body found in search for missing man in Cavan

A search operation that was planned to take place this morning in Cavan for a missing man has been stood down.

Gardaí have confirmed to Northern Sound News that a body has been found following a missing alert issued last night for Eric Byrne.

The 22 year old hadn’t been seen since the early hours of Saturday morning.
