"During times like this it's important that as a community we look after our most vulnerable." That's according to Lorraine Cunningham who is the Manager of popular community group of Blayney Blades.
With locals still urged to exercise caution and avoid non-essential travel, Lorraine believes many will struggle in the aftermath of Storm Aowyn, particularly those who are elderly and isolated.
As a result, she has offered some advice for anyone who may be feeling alone at this time and also encouraged locals to "play their part" and make the burden of this storm much easier for those impacted: "It's important for people who are vulnerable to keep a hot water bottle to keep yourself warm. Keep moving doing gentle exercises and if a little mediation if you become nervous and most importantly, don't be afraid to ring someone."
