Authorities were called to the site near Loughan House outside Blacklion village after workers came across the bones during building work.

Gardai say the Coroner’s Office has been notified.

The discovery of skeletal remains was made at approximately 4.30pm yesterday afternoon located close to Loughan House.

The Blacklion native died suddenly on Sunday.

The pumps failed to work correctly for over a week.
