A bike marking drive is taking place this afternoon.
The event has been organised by the Cavan Community Engagement Unit and is happening at the Drumalee GFC grounds.
There have been almost 7,000 bikes stolen over the last 16 months in Ireland and local Gardaí say that marking your bike with your eircode would mean you could be reunited with it should it get stolen.
