Belturbet has the third-lowest median house price in the country, according to the latest CSO data.
The latest CSO figures for the year up to June, 2022, reveals that the five most expensive Eircode areas by median price were in Dublin.
Blackrock is the Eircode area with the highest median price for property purchases at 720,000 euro while the least expensive Eircode areas over the last 12 months were 'Castlerea' and 'Ballyhaunis', with a median price of €120,000.
This is slightly lower than Belturbet Eircode area, which has a median price of 127,500 euro.
Elsewhere, across the Northern Sound region, Kells is the most expensive areas with median prices of 225,000 euro, followed by Carrickmacross with median prices of 205,000 euro, and North Monaghan with median prices of 200,000 euro.
