The Co Cavan weather station recorded a high for August of 25.4 degrees yesterday.

Meanwhile, the local Ballyhaise Weather Station in Co Cavan recorded 30 degrees earlier today.

But it will be short-lived and temperatures will reduce tomorrow.

There is potential for temperatures to hit 30 degrees at the end of this week.
