A ballot on plans for a new community centre in Magheracloone is being held today.
The old centre was lost following subsidence in the area back in 2018.
Between 12 noon and 8 o'clock this evening, people living in the area will be able to have their say on the proposed plans.
The vote is on the layout, facilities included and other aspects of the planning and ownership process.
Polling centres have been set up at either end of the parish. Ballots can be cast
in the carpark of St Peter and Paul's Church, lower Magheracloone, or the carpark
of Carrickasedge Social Centre in upper Maghercloone.
A result, which if passed will see the plans progress to the next stage, is expected early next week.
