Average house prices are now above €200,000 in both Cavan and Monaghan
Data published by property website, Daft.ie, shows the average asking price for home in the past 12 months was almost 312-thousand euro.
The average price increase was 9.5 per cent, with prices increasing more sharply outside of Dublin.
In Cavan, the average house price is now €201,500, a 15.3 per cent year on year increase.
While in Monaghan average prices now stand at €219,000 – marking a 9.8 per cent increase on the last twelve months.
Prices in Leitrim increased by 19 per cent, but the county continues to have the lowest average house price at €174,700.
Only Donegal had a great annual increase, just 0.1 per cent higher.
South County Dublin has the highest average house price across all of Ireland, at €666,000.
