Ardaghy Road closed due to road traffic collision

Local motorists are being advised that the Ardaghy Road outside Monaghan town is currently closed. The move is to facilitate a truck that overturned following a single vehicle road collision this morning.

Gardai say the route will remain closed to faciliate recovery of the lorry. The driver is uninjured and diversions are in place. Motorists are being advised to drive with caution in the area. It is expected that the road will reopen later this afternoon.
