The current 2023-2027 LEADER funding programme in Cavan is inviting expressions of interest. There is a budget of €4.8m for County Cavan and is targeted at community groups, private individuals and new and existing businesses.
The LEADER programme has provided rural communities across the European Union with the funding to develop rural areas since 1991. The scheme is being run here by Cavan County Local Development in partnership with Cavan County Council and Cavan Local Community Development Committee.
A series of four information evenings have been planned for across the county and, for those who cannot attend in person, a zoom meeting has been organised for Wednesday, 15th May. The application system for expressions of interest won't open until after the first information evening in Kilnaleck on Tuesday, 30th April.
