Gardaí have issued a public appeal in relation to a local burglary. Gardaí in Monaghan are hoping that any key information brought forward by members of the public will help in their continued investigation. According to Garda Mick Duffy, Gardaí are appealing for information following a break-in at a property in the townland of Coolskeagh, Castleblayney.
The incident took place on Saturday the 20th of January. The window of opportunity for this crime occurred between 4.30pm and 8.40pm when culprits forced a rear door and stole a quantity of cash. Coolskeagh is on the Dundalk road out of Castleblayney in Co Monaghan.
Gardaí at this time are appealing to anyone who was in the area or who witnessed any suspicious activity to contact them. Garda Mick Duffy is encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
