Gardaí in Cavan are currently appealing for information in relation to a burglary at Creighan in the town. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, the 2nd of December between 5:30pm and 6:20pm. A quantity of cash and jewellery was taken from the property located on the Ballinagh Road.
Amongst the jewellery was a gold and white gold necklace with the name "Michaela" in individual letters. This item of jewellery has a huge sentimental value and significance to the family and Gardaí are appealing to have it returned. A green cast iron safe was also removed from the house.
