Appeal issued over Monaghan hit and run

Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred in the Knockaconny area of Monaghan in the early hours of Sunday July 7th. The collision involved two vehicles occurred on the Armagh Road the N12 at approximately 1:50am. One of the vehicles involved in the collision failed to remain at the scene. Local Gardaí say no injuries have been reported at this time.

The car that remained at the scene was extensively damaged by this hit and run incident. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing, anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage is being asked to make it available to Gardaí. Monaghan Gardaí can be contacted on (047) 77200.
