An appeal has been made to find a quad stolen from the Knockballyroney area in Monaghan. An online post says the red Suzuki Kingquad 200AXI quad is "an important and valuable piece of farm equipment".
It was stolen from the Knockatallon / Scotstown area between 11pm on Thursday night August 22nd and 7am of the following morning. The owners ask the public, in particular, to be alert to the stolen vehicle being sold online or on the open market. Any sightings of a similar quad and even a vehicle used to transport the stolen property should be made known to Monaghan Garda Station on 047 77 200.
