A man in his 80's has died and two people are injured, following a collision between a car and a van close to Kingscourt on the Nobber Rd. The fatal collision happened yesterday evening after 5pm.
The man in his 80s was the driver of the van. Two people in the car were taken to hospital by ambulance with the scene of the collision preserved overnight for an examination by Gardaí. The R162 Kingscourt to Nobber road is currently closed to traffic following yesterday evenings collision.
