An appeal has been issued in relation to a break in to a local retail premises in Carrickmacross.
Two men gained entry just before 1am last Friday night/into Saturday morning to Avenue Coffee in the Drummond Otra area of the town located next to the pop up swimming pool.
Although only a minor sum of money was taken, significant damage was caused to the local café. Local Gardai are appealing for any information in relation to this break in, Carrickmacross Gardaí can be contacted on 042 9661222.

Megan Ward works at Rocksalt Avenue Coffee, she says the recent break in is the second such incident to have occurred in the past 18 months. She says it's very disheartening for the owners, staff and customers at the local restaurant.
