Appeal after car leaves scene of collision in Castleblayney

Gardaí are appealing for information after a car left the scene of a collision in Castleblayney at the weekend.

At around 7 o'clock on Friday evening (June 12th) a silver Land Rover Discovery hit the wall beside the country music memorial in the town.

Gardaí say the car left the scene and travelled in the direction of Northern Ireland.

They've given a partial registration number beginning with HHZ.
